Too Lazy For Breakfast? Get A Burger King Breakfast
Although strongly discouraged, breakfast is an essential part of your daily diet and if you are going to skip it because of lack of time going for Burger King breakfast could be a partial solution. It's not the best solution but at least you're not skipping breakfast and if it happens rarely it's okay. If you have to substitute your breakfast with Burger King meals every morning it could become a problem. Realizing that many people do not have time for breakfast in the morning Burger King decided to provide breakfast meals for a while now and although it is a growing trend I strongly hope that you're not part of it.
My classical idea of breakfast in the morning doesn't usually include meat but once in a while you succumb to the temptation of sausages, bacon or eggs. In a Burger King breakfast meal though everything consists of at least one piece of meat. Eating meat in the morning feels very good but the consequences of eating meat three times a day can be dangerous for your health. Fast food breakfasts have been available for quite some time now so they have developed to be very delicious but not necessarily healthy.
One of those items on the menu regarding the Burger King breakfast was the all popular omelet sandwich introduced in 2005 by the company. This new sandwich includes one sausage patty, three strips of bacon, two eggs and two American cheese. If you can picture it, it's basically all meat between two pieces of bread and to give you an idea of how fat it is, it contains over 45 g of fat which is more than the Whopper hamburger. I don't know about you but this sandwich seems more like a lunch or dinner kind of sandwich than breakfast. In terms of calories, you will have over 700 calories in one sandwich which is a lot for just breakfast.
If you have to stop at Burger King for breakfast then might I suggest other items on the menu that are probably lighter such as their croissants which you can mix with eggs, sausage or bacon. Luckily a Burger King breakfast is not only about meat so you can actually find lighter food such as hashbrowns and muffins. Fast food breakfasts have a lot to offer and although many of them are not safe for your health they certainly will not damage you if you'll occasionally eat there. The best way to have breakfast is not to skip it and make it yourself in the morning. It could be as simple as a bowl of cereals or slices of bread with jam but as long as you have something for breakfast you will have a much better day. And to prove how simple your breakfast should be, look at the Burger King breakfast menu. Cooking eggs, sausages or bacon does not require much culinary skills and pretty much anyone with 20 minutes in the morning can do it. Why should you do it instead of going to the fast food restaurant? well first of all it will taste better and second of all you will not be taking trans fat into your body.
